The story follows a croassover adventure between the Spider and Operator 5 as they try to foil the machinations of the Fascist Purple Shirts who are trying to overthrow the US Government. There is a lot of action along with character development as the two protagonists battle the Hangman who is a fascitic assassin sent to kill Operator 5. A really exciting book that will keep you spell bound to the very end.
In these modern times this story takes on new relevance.
